It is both the responsibility and the wish of the Government of Belize through the National Institute of Culture and History to facilitate the development of a balanced and efficient National Cultural Policy. The purpose of developing this cultural policy is to identify the linkages between culture and development and to examine economic, social, and cultural factors which should be considered in the decision-making process at the national level.
