About twice a year the museum presents temporary exhibits. Past exhibits have included:
  • Sports in Belize:
  • All a we mek Independence:
    • via posters, this display portrays how Belizeans from the first Maya, to the four slave rebellions, to resistance via culture and agriculture, formed Belizean society.
  • Oil Exploration in Belize: a history of Oil Exploration from the 1940’s to the recent discovery of oil.
  • Belizean I.D.: explores the root of our ethnicity and culture.
Currently Exhibiting:
  • Communicating Through Art (from cave paintings to cartoons) - Communicating via Maya hieroglyphs to cartoon comics by Belizean artists and cartoonists.
