The ISCR has plans to engage in a number of educational forums such as symposia, seminars and workshops.

This includes the establishment of an annual symposium, much like the one held yearly by the Institute of Archaeology. Forums for the discussion of varied topics will be developed on current and relevant topics such as crime, divorce, abortion, teenage drug and alcohol abuse, indigenous rights, culture and education.

The ISCR is also NICH’s liaison with Tertiary and High Schools to develop programs that highlight our cultural achievements and to promote the active participation of students and teachers in researching relevant aspects of our national culture. It hopes to build a relationship with the Regional Language Center at University of Belize to promote language acquisition.
